Abbas Is Leading The Palestinian Interim Government

DOHA-MICOM: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will lead a Government of national consensus while the upcoming elections to prepare, on the basis of an agreement signed, Monday (6/2), in the capital of Qatar. The Doha Declaration signed by the leaders of Hamas, Abbas and Khaled Meshaal in the presence of the emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani in Doha. The agreement stated that the new Palestinian Government will be composed of the independent technocrat and will also be responsible for overseeing the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
