One Peacekeeper was killed, Three Wounded in Darfur
NEW YORK–MICOM: peacekeeping one soldier was killed and three more injured in an ambush in the region of Darfur, Sudan. According to UN spokesman Martin Nesirky, at UN Headquarters, New York, on Wednesday (29/2), the UNITED NATIONS/African Union Mission in Darfur, which is also known by the name of COMPUTERS, just tell them that one patrol was moving in South Darfur are ambushed in one village. “Initial reports indicate three peacekeeping personnel were injured and one was killed,” said Martin, in the daily’s briefing at UN Headquarters, as quoted by Xinhua.
