ABC ordered the pilot of The Smart One, the comedy with Portia De Rossi, written by Donald Todd, produced by Ellen DeGeneres and Lauren Corrao, which tells the story of a brilliant and successful woman (De Rossi) who reluctantly goes to work for his sister less intelligent, but more popular, a former beauty queen, who is now Mayor of the city.
